Today, I had 2 Zoom meeting. One was about fiction writing component. The people who's doing fiction story or comic had a meeting together with our teacher. We talked about our plan and draft for our story. The second meeting was about how we represent our work in the exhibition day. For this meeting, we did it with the whole class. I was glad that everyone was fine.

I did some research today. I looked at some videos on YouTube and found some websites. Here's the website I found: try for good

I liked this website because it included a pictures of the human body with things that happen because of plastic. I think that picture was helpful for me because it was related to my second lines of inquiry.

Last week was term break! I did my action and it was easier than I thought because I was mostly at home. But I went to super-market and I realised that most of the food packaging are made of plastic.

Today, my school changed a bit for virtual school. They changed how we use Seesaw. It became a lot more easier than before.

Today, I did some research and I found a lot of good videos on YouTube. I recommend you to watch at least one of them because it's really good.
I also worked on my writing component. I watched some videos about realistic fiction. The video taught me any information.

Thank you and have a nice day!

Week 6 Reflection

This week was a busy week I think the reason was exhibition and virtual school. I research a lot. I got many informations and resources. I also wrote some questions. We started to make a schedule and to-do list everyday. It was very helpful for me because I had some trouble with time management. For mathematical component, I am almost done! Canva helped me a lot. I worked on my art component. I bought some paints and canvas. I also decided what I'm going to do for writing component. I chose realistic fiction because I love writing narrative! I think I'm going to include a character who's an expert on plastic in the ocean. I think he's going to teach the other character about it so the readers can learn from this story.

Next week is finally term break!!!!!!! I am so excited about it! I'm going to take action on that week so I cannot use any single-use plastic... Anyway, it's holiday!!!!

Thank you!

Today, I had a mentor meeting. My mentor and I discussed about my research and math component. I did some research and worked on my math component. I am almost done with it! I also had a chat with Izzie and Grace about the dance. (Hye Min was having lunch...) We decided to use a song called The World is Ours. We chose this song because the beat is very good for dancing. We made some  choreography.

Today, I had a lot time to research and take notes. For art, I chose what paint I'm going to use and on what thing I'm going to paint. I chose acrylic paint and canvas. I also talked with my friends who's dancing with me in the exhibition. We choreographed our dance. We asked our other friends if they want to join but none of them said they want to join...

This video is good!
Thank you!

It was a good video for me because I am bad at time management. I did some research and worked on my mathematical component. I used Canva. It is very good for making posters and infographic. For art, I made some more sketches.

It was a fun day! Thank you!

I really liked the way I communicated with my teachers and friends. I also focused on my work.

I wish I had more resources for Lines of Inquiry 2...

I still need to work on more research on Lines of Inquiry 2.

This week I found the playlist on YouTube that Ms Kesler (my homeroom teacher) made to be the most helpful.

I am most proud of my mathematical component draft that I finished.

The trickiest part of this week was time management.

I can now explain about great pacific garbage patch.

Next week, I need to think about my art and writing piece.

Thank you!

Today, I thought what I can do to take action. I think I'm going to try spending 1 week without plastic and tell everyone "STOP USING PLASTIC!". I think spending 1 week without plastic is hard but I'll try...

For art, I started thinking about my art component. I think I'm going to paint because I like painting.
